I hereby certify, confirm and acknowledge that:
1. I am:
- a Canadian citizen; OR
- a permanent resident of Canada
2. I have used my legal name and understand that anonymous donations are not permitted.
3. I am making this donation using my own funds and for my own benefit. I am not acting on behalf of, or as an agent, nominee, intermediary, representative, or proxy for, any other individual, organization, corporation, partnership, trust, association, or other entity.
4. The funds donated are derived from lawful sources and do not constitute the proceeds of crime, money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other unlawful activity.
5. My donation is voluntary and made without any expectation of personal benefit, preferential treatment, influence, special access, or involvement related to the 24 Sussex restoration project. I acknowledge that my donation does not confer any right to influence the project in any way and that all project decisions are made independently and are not affected by donor contributions.
6. If my donation, including cumulative donations, equals or exceeds $25,000, my donation will be subject to enhanced due diligence before it can be receipted and listed publicly. This includes using a third-party provider to assist in this diligence process and requires the collection of information including name, address, email, and birthdate in accordance with the Rideau Hall Foundation’s Privacy Policy. Rideau Hall Foundation and/or its appointed representative may reach out to coordinate further review.
7. Rideau Hall Foundation reserves the right to decline, reject, or return any donation if it determines that I do not meet the applicable donor eligibility requirements.
