Program Details
Ingenious+ is Canada’s youth innovation challenge, created to support the next generation of changemakers. The program recognizes young people aged 14 to 18 who are creating solutions to real-world challenges in their schools, communities, and beyond.
Innovation is about doing something better to make an impact, whether it’s improving a product, service, or process, or creating something entirely new to solve a problem or make the world a better place. Participants develop innovations across five categories: Community and Civic Engagement, Climate Change and the Environment, Equity and Inclusion, Health and Well-being, and Technology and Entrepreneurship.
Ingenious+ helps young innovators grow their confidence, develop their ideas, and connect with a national community of peers, mentors, and supporters. Through financial support, learning opportunities, mentorship from leading Canadian innovators, and national recognition, the program empowers young people to see themselves as capable of shaping Canada’s future, one idea at a time.
