2024 ITE – Call for Indigenous Adjudicators
The RHF Indigenous Teacher Education Initiative (ITE) launched the 2024 Open Call for applications of Indigenous-led projects that aim to enrich Canada’s learning landscape through efforts that will support Indigenous educators.
We are inviting First Nations, Inuit and Métis educators with an invested interest and expertise in Indigenous teacher education to participate on a consensus-based peer review adjudication panel to review the 2024 applications. In our commitment to the values and principles of equity and inclusion, the adjudication panel will be a nationally representative and diverse panel of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis education experts.
The 2024 Open Call invites project submissions via two funding streams: (1) Reinforce and (2) Retain. These two themes reflect an overarching commitment to (1) scaling approaches in Indigenous teacher education programs; and (2) addressing the lack of culturally appropriate and relevant resources or supports for First Nations, Inuit and Métis teachers.
Please see the “Grant” tab for more information on the two funding streams of the 2024 ITE Open Call.
