RBC North Star Technology Accelerator

The Rideau Hall Foundation has partnered with the Royal Bank of Canada, McConnell Foundation and Hewitt Foundation to offer further support to Arctic Inspiration Prize (AIP) Laureates. The first funding opportunity will be through the RBC North Star Technology Accelerator. Its focus is to support amazing work being done in northern communities by AIP Laureates. This first call for proposals will collectively award up to $300,000 to fund initiatives strengthening the use of technology to address barriers and implementing technology-based solutions. Future calls will support sustainability initiatives in other areas.

As the largest annual prize in Canada, the Arctic Inspiration Prize encourages, enables, and celebrates the inspiring achievements of the people of the North. The AIP recognizes diverse teams and enables their innovative projects in the fields of education, sustainable housing, health, performing arts, traditional knowledge, language, and science. The RHF is honoured to serve as the delivery partner for the AIP.
